This day, posted August 4, 2007, the bibliomula made a stop for 23 children. The children checkbooks and "librarians" read to the children. They also bring along laptops. The one at Weis Market on Old Camp Road is one of the best in Frederick. I'm in and out of there in no time, even with a full cart. However, I can't say the same for the Home Depot on Route 40. Teaching goes on every work day at the library with something as small as showing a patron how to get to the catalogue online and search for books. When I'm not at the library, I work for Frederick County Adult Ed as a tutor for adults studying for their high school diploma.
